ARABIC TYPOGRAHY
This font evolved from a challenge to improve arabic typography initiated by Huda S. Abifares, the woman behind TYPOGRAPHIC BEIRUT and KHITABAT. She argues that arabic typography is rooted too much in its calligraphic origin.

ARABIC TYPOGRAHY
Newspaper font design has to meet some functional demands - especially regarding readabillity and space economy.

My typeface is experimental and consists of detached letters, fixed x-height and vertical weight, which is far from traditional arabic script tradition. I have drawn a "serif" font with diagonally slanted letters in 2 weights and a sans serif version with vertical axis.

GALLERY TYPE
I opened a gallery to the public in my 2 room appartment on "a night with little fear" featuring an video installation by Morten Bencke.

The exhibition was called "I really wish you would write more often" and showed a wall of blank flyers that could work as a paper for the typewriters or unfolded as A2 posters. The typeface was custom made for this event.

LINDE WERDELIN
I have been working almost 3 years now for the luxury sports watch company Linde Werdelin based in London/ Copenhagen. As a graphic designer I have re-designed their logotype as well as designed quite a few watch fonts.

IDENTITY
Identity design for the project group WE LIVE HERE. The group consists of graphic designer Bo Vase and architect Ashkan Nejadi - the driving force being a mutual interest in design and communication in the public space.

One of our latest projects is publishing a book about the area Nørrebro and the record label and music school BazarMusicShop in Copenhagen.
